Haslocks, who are you and what do you offer?
Haslocks is a firm of forensic accountants and claims consultants which typically acts as expert advisor to insurance companies. Whilst we can assist in relation to a number of lines of business, we have developed a particular specialism in handling often complex claims relating to fraud and dishonesty.
Our services vary and are tailored to our clients, but we tend to undertake the following activities:
- Assessment and handling of notifications of circumstances and claims
- Advising on the approach to management of a notification, claim or portfolio of either
- Performance of coverage analysis, to include handling of declinature (where appropriate)
- Assessment of liability and quantum of losses
- Reserve setting and reporting
- Without settlement negotiation with claimants
- Maintenance of detailed records of our clients’ claims and their claims experience
- Attending to the discharge process and oversight of settlement payment
When acting in relation to the above, we act in capacity as expert advisor and not under any form of delegated authority or agency.
Can you accept correspondence on your clients’ behalf?
Haslocks cannot accept notifications of circumstances and/or claims, which must be duly notified in accordance with the relevant policy documentation or surety bond.
